Meet inspiring organisers, learn from successful campaigns and strengthen your skills.

Organisers from across the movement come together to make the NOC happen: unions, community organisers, campaigners, support organisations, journalists and academics.

Collectively we learn, reflect and discuss.

Save the date: NOC 2025 will take place on 5-7 September in Liverpool.

Registration will open on the 1st of May. Sign up to our newsletter and be the first to know when tickets are available.

Ravi Subramanian, Unison West Midlands Regional Secretary

"One of the most inspiring events I’ve been to for many years. The demographic and occupational diversity was impressive as it truly reflected the workers who are engaged in frontline workplace struggle. The sessions were all well run, thought provoking and practical. If we want workers to win, we need to learn from each other, and the NOC is the ideal place to do that learning. I can’t recommend it too highly."

Blue Weiss, IWGB Charity Workers Branch

“I hugely enjoyed the NOC conference 2023. The organisers did a phenomenal job of bringing together organisers from across our movement, who might not normally exist within the same space. Most powerfully, the organisers made clear in their words and practice that the conference was ‘ours’. Ours to build together!”

  • People at an event discussing in front of political and activist posters.

Kaenat, Labour behind the Label (NGO)

“Very well organised. Great opportunity for networking. Learning from Legends. Interesting workshops. Friends for life.”

    Organising skills

The NOC presents a diverse menu of sessions to increase your organising skills. They are facilitated by campaigners, unions and community organisers. Sessions range from video-activism and core organising skills to acting out real-life situations and digital campaigning skills. In addition, there will be sessions to reflect and learn by discussing previous experiences.

    Best Practices & Collabs

Powerful, innovative ideas and projects emerge when groups meet each other. The NOC is the perfect place to share ideas and best practices and take inspiration back to your organisation. Unions, community groups and organisers will share their wins and fails. This year we aim to connect people, foster new organising ideas and maybe even bring forth some baby projects.

    Migrant workers

This year we’ll host a special strand on migrant workers’ rights and organising. We welcome a variety of sessions – many led by facilitators with lived experience – that share successful campaigns to improve the rights and conditions of migrant workers. Other sessions will go into how to build power and how to respond to the new political context.

Rise of the far right & Palestine solidarity

Workplace and community organising doesn’t happen in a vacuum – building power requires active solidarity.

What is effective in fighting the far right in our communities and workplaces? And how do we actively stand in solidarity with Palestinians fighting for freedom?
